Mel Oberg-Olmi

Mel is a former print journalist, college English professor and GED volunteer teacher for the Charleston County School District. She has always had a keen interest in real estate and property management. Having managed her own rental property for more than 20 years, she brings experience and an eye to detail to the Halcyon team.

Mel landed in the Low Country more than 20 years ago and is the mother to three grown children and the grandmother to three adorable grandchildren.

In her free time, Mel enjoys bush hogging pastures, operating power tools, and cooking and entertaining friends and family. She is a Boykin Spaniel Rescue approved foster and is the proud owner of three Little Brown Dogs.
